The Barista Skills Course

Our tried-and-tested Barista Skills Course has been used to train baristas up and down the country, providing the skills and confidence needed to shine when using an espresso machine.

In this course, you'll learn to:

• Understand the journey of coffee, from bean to cup
• Extract the perfect espresso
• Understand the importance of steaming and texturing milk consistently
• Prepare at least 5 different espresso-based coffee drinks

Developing your sensory skills isn't just for coffee roasters, it's a fascinating look into coffee from another angle, and it can give you a whole new appreciation of the humble bean.

Assessing coffees is our bread and butter - it's what we do every day to ensure our coffees taste as good as possible. With an in-house Q Grader, we're uniquely equipped to look in-depth at the coffees we source and roast, and our Sensory Development School is your chance to learn some of those skills for yourself.
