Introducing the Pulsar Dripper by NextLevel. This fantastic new brewer is perfect for those looking to achieve the perfect balance of flavour and strength. With innovative features similar to Tricolate, it's a great way to make your coffee go further.

With precise control over the flow rate, you can customise the extraction process to achieve the perfect balance of flavour and strength. Eliminating water bypass in the Pulsar Brewer ensures that every drop of water interacts with the coffee grounds, resulting in a more thorough and flavourful extraction, resulting in a richer and more robust coffee.

The Pulsar Dripper is a collaboration between NextLevel and Jonathan Gagné, coffee blogger and author of the popular book "The Physics of Filter Coffee". It uses a flow-control valve and dispersion cap to produce filter coffee that is evenly extracted and full of flavour.

With most methods for brewing filter coffee, like a V60, some of the water escapes around the edges of the filter without ever interacting with the coffee grounds. "Zero-bypass" refers to brewers that force all of the water through the coffee, resulting in a cup that is evenly extracted and full of flavour.

We recommend using 25-30g of coffee with the Pulsar Dripper and a 1:17 coffee-to-water ratio. This amount of coffee ensures you have sufficient bed depth to avoid astringency in your brew.

We suggest using a medium grind size for making coffee with the Pulsar Dripper, coarser than you would grind for a V60 or AeroPress, but finer than if using a cafetière. Adjust this to taste. If your brew tastes too bitter, grind a bit coarser, and if it tastes sour/astringent, grind a bit finer.

We roast our coffee in such a way that it can be used with any brew method, but if you want to really experience the depth of flavour that can be achieved with the Pulsar Dripper, then we'd suggest browsing our range of filter coffee.
