Compared to medium and dark roasts, light roast coffees retain more of their origin flavours due to the reduced roasting time. Medium roasts offer a balance between acidity and body, while dark roasts develop bolder, more robust flavours with diminished acidity.​

Light roast coffees are versatile and can be enjoyed using various brewing methods. However, pour-over techniques like Chemex or Hario V60 are particularly effective in highlighting their delicate flavours. AeroPress and filter coffee machines also yield excellent results.
