Coffee beans are highly sensitive to air, light, heat, and moisture. Proper storage preserves the oils and aromatic compounds that create coffee's flavour, keeping your beans fresh for weeks longer than basic storage methods.

The Fellow Atmos features an integrated vacuum pump in its lid. By simply twisting the lid back and forth, you pump out air, preventing oxygen and moisture from staling your coffee beans. This can extend the life of your beans by up to 50%, preserving their flavour and aroma. A small green dot drops on the lid to indicate the vacuum lock is secure.

The Fellow Atmos features a simple twist mechanism that creates a vacuum seal. As you twist the lid, it removes air from the canister, creating negative pressure that locks out oxygen and locks in freshness.

We offer Fellow Atmos vacuum canisters in three sizes. Since coffee beans vary in density depending on origin and roast, capacity will differ slightly, but as a general guide: the 400ml canister holds approximately 150g of coffee, the 700ml holds around 250g, and the 1.2L canister accommodates up to 450g.

Store in a cool, dark place away from heat sources like ovens or direct sunlight. Room temperature is ideal - avoid fridges or freezers as temperature fluctuations can cause condensation.

Fellow Atmos canisters are engineered specifically for whole bean storage. Ground coffee and other fine particles can block the intake valve, compromising the vacuum seal and potentially voiding your warranty.
