El Palto Geisha

In the small community of El Palto, Bellavista, near Jaén, the Guerrero family has been farming coffee for three generations. 

Each family member tends their own two hectares, but they come together to process their coffee at shared washing and drying stations. With ongoing guidance from an agronomist, they’ve refined their processing techniques over the years, leading to some truly wonderful coffees.

This beautiful washed Geisha comes from Orlando and Pedro, two of the Guerrero brothers. Expect a cup full of bright acidity, stone fruit sweetness, and a delicate floral finish.

El Palto, Bellavista

In the small community of El Palto, Bellavista, the Guerrero family has been farming coffee for three generations. El Palto is located close to Jaén in the north of the country. This region benefits from an equatorial climate and soils perfect for growing coffee. 

Delicate & Floral

Expect some bright acidity upfront, followed by a pleasant stone fruit sweetness, and a delicate floral finish. This is a great example of what the Geisha varietal has to offer.

Washed

This is a traditional washed coffee. Recently, the Guerreros brothers have been working with an agronomist to improve their coffee, using tools to carefully monitor growing and processing conditions.

Bright, delicate, and floral. Expect this cup to have some pleasant acidity upfront, and low bitterness.
