Ngila Estate

Ngila Estate sits at 1,600 meters above sea level on the edge of the cloud forest near Tanzania’s Ngorongoro Crater. The 100-hectare farm borders a forest corridor essential for wildlife, including elephants, following traditional migration routes. Ngila Estate supports its workers and the local community through fair wages, education funding, and skills training.

Sweet & Juicy

Expect a cup full of juicy red fruit sweetness, with notes of red grape, raspberry and redcurrant delivering a vibrant, berry-led character.

Red Honey

After careful harvesting, fresh cherries were floated to remove any defects before being placed into boxes to ferment for 3-4 days. After fermentation, cherries are pulped with a little water, then dried out slowly on raised beds.
