This washed lot comes from Negash Abarago's farm in Ethiopia's Limu region. Negash inherited the family farm from his parents and has worked the land for over a decade, cultivating coffee alongside bananas and avocados.
This is a beautiful example of what makes Ethiopian coffees so distinctive. Expect a light, clean body, bright citrus notes, and a gentle floral quality reminiscent of black tea.
After carefully harvesting by hand, ripe coffee cherries are depulped and washed before being placed on traditional African raised beds to dry in the sun.
Expect this one to be light and clean with tea-like complexity and a refreshing acidity.
