Yunguilla Valley, Azuay Province

Yunguilla is one of the most beautiful and unique valleys in Ecuador, known for its exceptional soil and climate characteristics. It is located within the Andes mountain range, whose river basins flow into the Pacific Ocean. Unlike other regions of Ecuador, Yunguilla is distinguished by its type of sandy loam soil, which favors the development of vegetation adapted to more arid conditions.

Bright, Sweet & Juicy

High and bright acidity, fresh and vibrant. Clean finish with citrus acidity. Intense fruity notes. Juicy, sweet, and balanced - notes of honey, citrus, tropical fruit. It offers clarity without sharpness, sweetness without heaviness, and a finish that feels like sunlight turning to silk.

Natural

Skilled workers handpick only fully ripe cherries before transferring them to solar drying rooms or raised African beds, where they dry slowly over 20 to 30 days. During this period, workers manually turn the cherries three to four times daily to ensure even dehydration and prevent heat damage, whilst environmental sensors continuously monitor temperature, humidity, and airflow. This combination of traditional craftsmanship and modern data usage reflects a commitment to quality and the careful attention that produces exceptional coffee.
